Principal of small school district killed in car accident

On Behalf of | Nov 24, 2017 | Car Accidents |

Sometimes, we are reminded of just how many lives a car accident can affect. Even if the accident itself only involves two vehicles, the impact of the incident can reverberate throughout an entire community, shaking it to its core.

That’s what has happened with a recent car accident involving a beloved school principal. A school principal was driving when it was hit by an oncoming vehicle that was trying to pass another car. Both drivers were killed in the accident.

While this loss of life is tragic alone, the school principal’s place in the lives of many children and parents from the community has also been irreversibly changed. The school district is working to find a way to move through this tragedy for the sake of the children involved, but it will of course be very difficult. When the car accident is examined through more of a personal lens, it unfortunately becomes even more difficult to comprehend – the principal was a 48-year-old mother of five children.

The impact this accident is going to have on the school community and the principal’s family is unfathomable. Whenever a car accident affects a life, whether it’s one or many, everything should be done to achieve justice. In some situations, negligence on the part of another person can be the cause of a crash. If this is the case, damages such as medical expenses, funeral expenses, lost wages and more can be recovered. Seeking the assistance of an experienced attorney can help those in such situations move forward with a solid plan of legal action.
