For drivers in Colorado, it is important to be aware at all times when on the roads. No matter how careful you are or how quiet the road may seem, it only takes one slip on the part of anyone on that road for disaster to strike. One such incident occurred in Pueblo County one Thursday, after a truck driven by a 55-year-old man allegedly rolled over after drifting off-course. Truck accidents can often be severe and such was the case in this instance. The added weight from the truck’s load of dirt and sand may have contributed to the situation.
Sadly, the driver did not survive the incident. However, nobody else appears to have been involved. The crash is being investigated further to determine how this tragic event occurred. According to the State Patrol, alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash. However, the driver is said to have not been wearing his seatbelt.
It is an unfortunate fact that accidents like these happen all too often in Colorado. It only takes a moment to lose concentration, but the consequences can be life-changing.
