Dan Mahoney has practiced personal injury law throughout Colorado since graduating from George Washington University Law School in 1984. Although the majority of his cases originate in Metro Denver and surrounding area, he also takes claims in other Colorado communities. W. Dan Mahoney is a Colorado native who attended Boulder High School, the University of Colorado, where he received his undergraduate degree in Economics cum laude, and then in 1984 received his law degree with honors from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
After finishing school, Mr. Mahoney practiced law for five years as an associate with a Denver firm representing insurance companies where he defended claims bought by injured people. In 1989 Mr. Mahoney and other lawyers formed a law firm in downtown Denver now known as Schlueter, Mahoney and Ross, P. C. where he practiced until 2002. Mr. Mahoney remains of counsel with that Denver firm.
